Only 1 of every 12 cats born finds a permanent home. Millions are euthanized every year and the rest are left to wander the streets, unwanted and unloved. This blog has been created to honor Sophie, who was a shelter cat before my sister adopted her 10 years ago this past November. Actually, it is a blog to honor animals everywhere...cats and dogs, birds and mice, rabbits and guinea pigs...Precious creatures who are dependent on our love, and who love us unconditionally in return.
